SNES / SFC 1-Chip RGB Bypass

This mod bypasses the onboard amp entirely, correcting the brightness and ghosting issues common to 1CHIP consoles and delivering a cleaner, sharper picture to your RGB-capable display or upscaler.

Every install includes the ghosting fix at no extra charge, addressing the subtle image trailing that affects all 1CHIP consoles out of the box.

This mod is only compatible with 1CHIP SNES revisions — not all SNES consoles qualify. Before sending your console in, you must confirm your motherboard revision. Compatible boards are labeled SNS-CPU-1CHIP-01, SNS-CPU-1CHIP-02, or SNS-CPU-1CHIP-03 on the motherboard. These are NTSC consoles only — PAL systems are not supported. 2-chip and 3-chip SNES revisions are not compatible with this mod.

To identify your board revision, open the console and look for the revision label printed directly on the motherboard. Consoles cannot be accepted for this service without confirmed 1CHIP compatibility.
