How does the send-in process work?
Place your order and complete checkout on the website. Once your order is confirmed, we'll send you shipping instructions via email — usually within 1-2 business days. This process isn't automated, so don't worry if you don't receive an immediate response after checkout.
How long does it take?
Standard turnaround time is 2-6 weeks from the date we receive your console. This can vary depending on current order backlog, parts availability, and the complexity of the service requested. Custom or quote-based orders may take additional time. If you have any questions about the status of your order, don't hesitate to reach out — we're happy to give you an update.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We guarantee the quality of our workmanship and the functionality of all installed components for 180 days from the date of delivery.
What is covered: Solder joints, installed mod boards or kits, and internal wiring performed as part of the service. If something we installed fails under normal use within 180 days, we will repair it at no charge.
What is not covered:
- Damage caused by dropping, liquid exposure, power surges, or use of shoddy third-party power supplies
- Failure of pre-existing hardware unrelated to the service performed (including capacitor failure in consoles that have not had a recap service)
- Loss or damage during return shipping
72-Hour Inspection Window: Please stress test your console within 72 hours of delivery. Any shipping damage or immediate installation issues must be reported within this window. Issues reported after 72 hours may not be covered.
Warranty Shipping: If a warranty repair is needed, you are responsible for shipping the console back to us. We cover return shipping on all warranty repairs. We strongly recommend shipping with insurance — we are not responsible for loss or damage in transit.
Required Insurance: All consoles sent to us for service must be shipped with carrier insurance. This is for your protection in the case of loss or damage enroute. We will also insure all return shipments. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by the carrier on either leg of shipment.
Can I ship internationally?
At this time we only accept orders from the United States and U.S. territories.
How do I pay?
We operate on a pay-on-completion model — no payment is collected at checkout. Once you place your order, we'll send you shipping instructions within 1-2 business days.
If your service requires us to source a mod board on your behalf, as indicated in your order, you'll receive a separate invoice for the material cost before we order the part. Once the work is complete, we'll send a final invoice for the service and return shipping. Your console ships back as soon as payment is received.
We accept all major credit cards.
Do you offer mods not listed on the site?
Possibly — fill out our quote request form and describe what you're looking for. We'll let you know if it's something we can do and provide pricing. We're happy to discuss custom modifications and specialty work on a case by case basis, We do not do case mods (e.g., custom painting) however we will install any provided aftermarket cases.
